I was craving Chinese food and Cheng Du didn't disappoint. The service was great, Nancy was very attentive and gave us good recommendations. I forgot the picture of the Dan Dan noodles which were excellent. Everything we had was really good, the dry pepper chicken had a lot of spice but still flavorful, the string beans were very good and the prawns were nicely seasoned. The Indonesia fried rice was good too and the portions are sizable so come here hungry. Definite five star meal

We really enjoyed our lunch here. Spacious table setups, clean and very strong air conditioning. Our server was a nice soft-spoken, patient glass-wearing college student -like young man. Food Our favorite was spicy crispy fish fillet. Hot level, sodium level and crispy level were all just perfect for an entire family to enjoy. I loved NO MSG taste and not oily! An absolutely beautiful dish! Beef dry pot with variety of veggies, such as FRESH bamboo roots, lotus, bell peppers, FRESH mushrooms, onions, leeks, was full of flavorful as well. It was like a great symphony of savory, spicy, hint of sweet, barely noticeable of numbness along with just some touch of wok flavor. Crab pork dumplings were not their strength. I believe that if they make Cheng Du style Baos would be a huge hit. The last but not the least is making sure to bag all those fried red chili peppers to go! Do NOT leave them behind. Because those are the REAL treasures!!! They make you many authentic Si Chuan dishes at home! Do like any REAL Cheng Du people or Chong Qing people do in China! A fairly authentic SiChuan restaurant. I will definitely bring my friends here. And yes, I would choose it over Chef Wang on some dishes. However, don't do Uber Eats, the price becomes instantly ridiculous. Chef Wang s Uber Eats price is the most sensible one.

Boom! Rich, bold flavors, tantalizing textures, anamazing sauces and exotic seasonings! Mix with friendly, well-spoken staff who take pride and delight in their cuisine. Questions answered, recommendations made, and backstories revealed! Add a well designed and clearly illustrated menu and very good prices, throw in some lovely decor and don't forget a big private parking lot at the rear entrance. Shake well with a complimentary pot of Chinese tea - and you've got Cheng Du. Love this place! It's spacious, would be great for groups. There's even a semi-private nook at the back side that would suit a party of a dozen or so. Tables seating is quite comfortable. The booths are all semi-circular and BIG where you have to slide yourself all around or else you'd be far across the table from your partner. There's a bit of a 'leftover' zone that was a buffet of the prior restaurant occupant (I assume). Know what else I love? You order a soda, you get your own can with a nice glass of ice. I don't believe they serve any alcohol (yet?) but who cares. This is a foodie heaven. We've tried several items and plan to be back for more. Dan Dan was better than at other upscale Chinese, at a lower price and a huge portion. Chili oil wontons were amazing. Hot pot style meats are nice and tender. If you want a flavor adventure get in here!
